Baptism is a celebration of our entry into the faith of a believing community, the Church.  Parents and godparents exercise their responsibilities by their example of Christian living, family prayer and their active participation in the celebration of the sacraments and in the life of the parish community.

The Baptism Preparation program helps parents prepare for and celebrate the sacrament of baptism for their children.  The program consists of two evening sessions.  Godparents, when possible, are also invited to attend and share the experience of their own faith journey. 

This ministry invites individuals/couples to assist in the program as teachers/guides and in welcoming the families to the parish community.

The next preparation classes for Baptism are on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 beginning at 6:45 pm and then Tuesday, November 1, 2011 also beginning at 6:45 pm and ending at 8:15 pm.

The Celebration for Baptism takes place on Sunday, November 6, 2011 after the noon mass.

Pre-registration is necessary so as to have enough materials for all participants. Godparents are also invited to the classes as well as grandparents too.

Baptism preparation dates are January 25, 2012 and also February 1, 2012 beginning at 6:45 pm until 8:15 pm. The Celebration of Baptism will be on Sunday, February 5, 2012 after the noon mass.
