Liturgy of the Word for children
Holy Spirit Parish offers a children's liturgy program at all Sunday masses, except Saturday at 5:00. Children ages 3 to pre-First Communion are invited to leave the Mass to have the Word presented to them at their faith level. Activities include music, art, discussion and presentation of the Word of God. The children return to Mass during the Preparation of the Gifts. Many catechists are needed for this valuable ministry and all would find it very rewarding. Anyone interested in teaching please contact Shirley.
***** Children often receive a picture or other hand - outs at the liturgies. Many of these would look great on the fridge.... and parents could refer to them during the week!!!
Children's Liturgy is available from the middle of September
to the middle of June.
